Exactly one year ago today Fraport Slovenija opened the new terminal at Ljubljana Airport. On July 1, 2021 the first passengers set off on their journeys from a modern building, that offers its users higher quality, a greater variety of services and a better working environment. Today, the new terminal is full of life, as passenger traffic is seeing steep growth with easing traveling restrictions and increasing demand for flights. It continues to be developed – on its 1st anniversary an extension of the All Yours Duty Free Food and more shop was officially opened.
The flight network from Ljubljana Airport is richer for the last two of the announced connections for this Summer Season. On Sunday, Air Montenegro re-established flights to Tivat and yesterday, Israir Airlines has returned flights to Tel Aviv. With the beginning of school holidays next week, charter flights will reach the widest offer during this summer season. In the busiest months of the year passengers will be able to fly from Ljubljana Airport with around 140 flights per week.
