GENERAL ISSUES

 

Drop-off (kiss & fly) offers 10 minutes of free parking for passenger drop-off and pick-up at maximum 2 entrances inside 24h period. This period is counted from the time of the 1st entrance.

 

Note that parking fee is paid in the following cases:

- at the first entrance inside 24h, if you stay longer than 10 min

- at the second entrance inside 24h, if you stay longer than 10 min

- at the third and all the following entrances (in 24h time from the 1st intrance) from 1st minute on.

There are a parking house (PH) and outdoor parking areas P1, P2 and P3. Please follow the road signage.

Price lists are published in front of all the entrances to the parking areas (PH, P1, P2, P3, drop off) as well as on the Ljubljana Airport website under the descriptions of individual parking areas.

You can make the payment at the cashier's office within working hours (cards & cash) or at one of the parking machines (24/7).

If you need an invoice addressed to a company name, you must visit the cashier's office to pay the parking fee. Before payment you must inform the cashier regarding your wishes.

If you need an invoice issued to the company name, it is necessary to stop by the cashier's office (working schedule) to pay for the parking fee. The cashier needs to be notified in advance, before they issue an invoice. 

The parking machine does not have the possibility to issue an invoice to a company name.

It is not possible to issue an invoice to a company name at a later time.

General Parking (Drive-up)

Entrances to parking areas P1, P2, P3, parking house (PH) and the drop-off zone are equipped with cameras for license plate recognition (LPR). Despite the cameras, visitors must still press the "yellow button" on the entrance unit and take the entrance parking ticket. After taking the parking ticket, barrier opens. The entrance parking ticket is used for payment of the parking fee; after payment, it is generally no longer needed for exit. However, we recommend that visitors retain the parking ticket until they exit. You will need it to exit the parking lot if the exit camera fails to read your vehicle's license plate for any reason.

Online Booking

Entering the parking areas with an online reservation is slightly different. Please carefully read the instructions from the reservation confirmation you had received via email.

Agency Booking

Entering the parking areas with a reservation made through a travel agency is slightly different. Please carefully read the instructions from the reservation confirmation you had received from the travel agency where you booked the parking.

1.)

Parking machines located at the exit terminal (A), at the entrance of parking lot P2 and at the exit from the drop-off zone accept only PAYMENT CARDS. The parking machine on the ground floor of the parking house (PH) accepts PAYMENT CARDS and CASH. The parking cashier on the ground floor of the parking house (PH) accepts PAYMENT CARDS and CASH.

You can pay the parking fee using the entrance parking ticket. Make sure to insert the parking ticket into the designated slot (the code may need to face upwards) and push it all the way in. Follow the instructions on the screen. Press your payment card against the reader or insert it into the slot for payment cards (push the card all the way into the slot). Follow the instructions on the screen. After completing the transaction, take the parking ticket, which will allow you to exit the parking lot. Parking machines that are designed to accept payment cards only DO NOT accept cash. Cash is accepted only by the parking pachine located in the parking house PH (ground floor) and the parking cashier. If you encounter payment issues, try using another parking machine or call the parking cashier via the intercom on the parking machine. The availability of the parking cashier is limited. Outside of business hours, assistance information is posted on the INFO window of the parking cashier.

Payment issues can be caused by improper handling of parking tickets, such as exposing them to direct sunlight or moisture, bending, folding, or similar actions.

b.)

The parking fee can also be paid by entering the license plate number, but only at the parking machine in the parking house PH (ground floor).

 

The parking machine probably ran out of paper. Please write to parking@fraport-slovenija.si and we will send you an electronic copy of the invoice. We need the following info:

- date & approximate time of payment

- location of payment

- payment amount

Please send an e-mail to: parking@fraport-slovenija.si with a description of the problem and a picture (scan) of the invoice.

Make sure that the parking ticket is positioned correctly when inserted into the reader slot (the code must look upwards).

Problems can be caused by parking tickets that are improperly handled, if you expose the ticket to direct sunlight or moisture, twist it, fold it, etc.

If you have paid the parking fee and the parking barrier does not open when you insert the valid parking ticket into the reader's slot, call the parking cashier's office via the intercom inside working schedule. If you can not reach the cashier, please come to the cashier's office, located at the parking house - groundfloor. You will find helpful information at the cashier's information window.

When entering the wrong parking area, you have 5 minutes (parking house, P1, P2 and P3) or 10 minutes (drop-off zone; 2 times per day) to exit the area for free.

If you stay longer, it is necessary to pay the parking fee according to the valid price lists before exiting.

Please report to the cashier's office, located at the parking house - groudfloor. Outside cashier's office working schedule, you will find further information posted at the cashier's information window.

ONLINE BOOKING

You can make a booking through the online form available on the website: https://www.lju-airport.si/en/ljubljana-airport-parking

Enter the selected parking period and follow the subsequent steps. 

After successfully completing your reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation to the email address you had provided during the purchase process. If you do not receive the conformation document, please contact us immediately via email at: parking@fraport-slovenija.si.

If you wish to book a parking space online, you can do so for a minimum duration of 24h and a maximum duration of 30 days.

You can make a booking latest 2 hours before you designated enterance to the parking lot.

You can make a booking for no more than 6 months in advance.

Contact parking@fraport-slovenija.si. Please provide the booking reference number, if you know it, or the first name, surname and licence plate number.

If you wish to change the licence plate number, period or location of your online parking booking, you have the following options. Same applies for cancelation.

1.)

Find the "Manage booking" button in the reservation confirmation email (bottom left) that you received.

Enter your reservation number and email address to access your reservation.

2.)

Visit the website: https://www.lju-airport.si/en/ljubljana-airport-parking/. Below the online reservation form, on the right side, there is a "Manage booking" button. Enter your reservation number and email address to access your reservation.

NOTE: The above does not apply if you made the reservation through a travel agency. In that case, please contact the agency for any changes.

 

NOTE: If you would like to change the billing address, you need to cancel your reservation and create a new one.

 

You can cancel your reservation free of charge at any time, but no later than 24 hours before your scheduled arrival at the parking lot.

If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before the stated arrival time, you will be charged a cancellation fee of EUR 19.90 (incl. VAT). If the amount of your parking is less than the cancellation fee, the full amount of the parking will be charged as the cancellation fee.

Print the booking confirmation with the QR code which you had received via email and hold it by your side.

 

Entry to the parking lot:

Make sure you are in front of the parking lot where you had reserved a parking spot.

STEP 1: Drive up to the barrier.

STEP 2: Wait for the parking ticket (it will be issued automatically).

Important: The system will recognize your license plate and automatically issue a parking ticket. If the ticket does not print, scan the QR code (found in the reservation confirmation email) as shown in the picture below and wait for the printed parking ticket.

STEP 3: Take the parking ticket and keep it safe as you may need it later. The barrier will not open until you take the ticket from the slot. 

STEP 4: The barrier will lift, allowing you to enter and choose a parking spot.

If the parking system does not recognize your reservation and automatically issue a parking ticket using any of the above methods, enter by pressing the "yellow button" on the entrance unit and take a general parking ticket. Immediately report your issue to the parking cashier (during business hours) or via email at parking@fraport-slovenija.si, so we can provide you with further instructions.

 

Exit from the parking lot, if your reservation was correctly detected:

A - If you are leaving within the reserved time +3h, approach the exit barrier, and it will open automatically. If the barrier does not open, insert the parking ticket you had received upon entering the parking lot.

B - If you have exceeded the reserved time (exiting more than 3h after your reservation exit time), you will need to pay for the additional parking fee at the parking machine or the parking cashier before exiting. Afterwards you can exit as described in point A.

 

Check the information on your parking ticket:

Option A
The parking ticket says "booking." The entry is correct, and the reservation has been detected.

Option B
The parking ticket says "parkirni listek." The entry is incorrect.

If the entry is incorrect, the following options are available:

a.) If you return during the parking cashier's working hours, please go to the parking office for approval of the exit.

b.) If you return outside of the parking office's working hours, you can call for assistance using the phone at the parking cashier's counter (just lift the handset) or contact the Traffic Manager (the phone number is listed on the notice board at the parking cashier's). In worst case, pay the parking fee at the parking machine with the parking ticket, and then send us a request (scan of the receipt, reservation details) for a refund of the overpayment to parking@fraport-slovenija.si.

The location of the parking cashier'soffice is on the ground floor of the parking garage (PH).

If you exceed your reserved parking time for more than 3 hours, you must pay the extra amount at the parking machine or the cashier's office before leaving. Use your entry parking ticket for this. Once payment is made, you can approach the exit barrier, which will open automatically. If the barrier doesn't open, insert your parking ticket.

If you've lost your entry parking ticket, you can make the payment at the parking machine on the ground floor of the parking house (PH) by entering your license plate number.

The surcharge will be calculated based on the rates from the general parking price list.

 

SEASON PARKING CARDS

Fill in the order form and send it to parking@fraport-slovenija.si, afterwards you will receive further instructions.

- Annual cards for 6 months or 1 year (PDF order forms), method of payment: in advance according to the issued invoice in a single amount.

- Drop-off zone or all areas entry card for approved legal entities, method of payment: monthly billing according to actual consumption, please contact:

parking@fraport-slovenija.si.

- Prepaid card (PDF order form), method of payment: advance payment, valid for parking in all areas except PH - basement floor.

During the working schedule, you can renew the card directly at the cashier's office.

AGENCY PARKING BOOKINGS

To properly redeem the agency parking reservation, it is essential that you read the instructions provided by the travel agency where you made the reservation. If you have not received the instructions, contact the agency in a timely manner. The agency must send you a confirmation form of your reservation with the relevant reservation details, QR code, instructions for proper entry, and guidance on how to handle any issues that may arise.

DINERS CARD HOLDERS

At the Parking Machine

When paying at the parking machine, holders settle the parking fee. Any discounts and other potential benefits are to be settled directly with their Diners agent via email or SMS request (instructions were received from Diners via email).

At the Parking Cashier's office

When paying at the parking cashier's office, holders settle the parking fee with a 10% discount. Any other potential benefits are to be settled directly with their agent via email or SMS request (instructions were received from Diners via email).

 

PARKING FOR DISABLED

Individuals with disabilities are granted free of charge parking upon presentation of their valid disability and ID card.

Before exiting the parking area, take your entry parking ticket and report to the parking cashier's office. The parking cashier's office schedule is posted here.

The nearest disabled-friendly parking spaces are in the parking house - PH and at the outdoor parking area P1 (opposite to the departure Terminal).

VISITORS OF THE CLINIC

Visitors of the airport clinic are granted with the discount for parking.

At the parking house - PH and and the outdoor parking area P1, the first two hours are charged with a 50% discount on regular prices.

At the outdoor parking area P2 and P3, the first two hours are free of charge.

Longer parking is charged according to the price list. For more information related to the method of payment with an approved discount, ask at the clinic.

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING STATIONS

If you arrive at the Airport in an electric or a hybrid car, you can charge it at:

Outdoor parking P1

  • Fast charging 1 x DC (2 x 75 kW), price is 0,87 EUR/kWh.
  • Slow charging 3 AC (6 x 22kW), price is 0,55 EUR/kWh.
  • Info at OneCharge app, location name is Aerodrom Ljubljana.
  • Parking fee is paid according to parking price lists at the parking machine or parking cashier's office.

 

Parking house (floor 1B)

  • Slow charging (2 connections), price is 0,43 EUR/kWh.
  • Info at OneCharge app, location name is Aerodrom Ljubljana-Garaža.
  • Parking fee is paid according to parking price lists at the parking machine or parking cashier's office.

 

LUGGAGE CARTS

Next to the new bus stationin the immediate vicinity of the outdoor parking area P1 and opposite to the Terminal building.
